Expo 2015, the Parma system does network for a starring role
With the theme “Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life” and 22 million expected visitors, Expo 2015 is a great opportunity to enhance the territory, culture and biodiversity of Italy. Parma also is preparing well for this challenge: our territory – near Milan – is unique to the mix of technological and industrial excellence and culinary culture, art and music.
Just because Parma will play a starring role on the occasion of Expo 2015, the institutions and the main actors of economic enterprise of the area have decided to network. This led to a working, under the coordination of Parma Food, collects the City of Parma, Parma Province, Chamber of Commerce of Parma, University of Parma, Cariparma Foundation and Foundation Monteparma, Fiere di Parma.
There are two objectives of the Work Table. The first is to coordinate the initiatives already planned by the theme of Expo 2015 individuals. The second is to act as a catalyst for the creation of new sustainable initiatives to be pursued even once concluded the Universal Exhibition.
Among the initiatives already planned, the conference activities themed food sponsored by the University, the partnership between Fiere di Parma and Federalimentare for the construction of a pavilion at Expo, the projects of development of the territory, with a view both leisure and convention tourism , maintained by the City of Parma.
It was also officially unveiled the logo ParmaforExpo, recorded from Parma Food: the imprint will be recognizable and distinctive system of initiatives on the theme Parma Expo.
