Onas: at Christmas cannot miss the deli meat products

At Christmas the Deli meat products are the guests star of the Italian tables. It’s ONAS (The National deli meat products Tasters Organization) to confirm this. According to the latest data, at Christmas have been spent € 2.5 billion for food and drink. Not even the crisis stop “good food”. Beside ravioli, tortellini, capons and cotechino, there were dry cured and cooked Ham, sliced into thin slices or cubes, Mortadella, Pancetta, Coppa and other delicious products for appetizers.

To prevail was the Made in Italy with a reduction of products from abroad, such as caviar, oysters, salmon and champagne. In the Christmas 2012 was recorded the success of local products with preparation of traditional recipes like Cappelletti in broth of Romagna and Piemonte, Canederli from Trentino, Cardi soup from Abruzzo, Scillatelle from Calabria, Pandolce from Liguria, Fristigo from Marche and many other specialties present in all Italian regions.
