Marca 2020 post furlotti

On the 15th and 16th January 2020 Furlotti & C. participates at MarcabyBolognaFiere, the trade show dedicated to the private label, organized by BolognaFiere in collaboration with the Modern Distribution Association. The 2019 fair edition ended with the presence of 746 exhibitors, over 10.100 professional operators (+ 7% compared to 2018), with an increase of 11% of foreign operators, that confirms the interest about Made in Italy products. Marca 2020 is expected to be a successful edition, renewed in layout and content. Exhibitors are growing, the exhibition area increases, with the addition of a pavilion, the 36, dedicated exclusively to non-food. The new area completes the layout of MarcabyBolognaFiere 2020: pavilions 25, 26 and the new 29 and 30, thus the positioning of the event is further strengthened in the international scale.

Among the new initiatives, there is also the debut of MARCA FRESH, a space entirely dedicated to the novelties of the fresh food sector, hosted within the event, that will see the fruit and vegetables as protagonists. The new Satellite Hall (the 28) also offers new business opportunities to thousands of professional operators, where most of them are Bio, free from with a focus in traceability. With the seventh edition of MarcaTech (hall 30), the areas reserved to the themes of packaging, logistics and digital industry are confirmed and expanded. Between the exhibitors, there are also 20 brands, which represent the modern distribution and which form the technical-scientific committee of the event, for defining the strategic development of the event. The market share of private label products stands in Italy at 20 per cent against a European average higher than 30 per cent. At the same time, these innovative products respond to consumer needs with proposals in emerging trends such as organic, the increasingly strong attention to the sustainable packaging, traceability and food intolerances. MarcabyBolognaFiere is one of the most important fair trade helping companies to emerge in the private label segment, which retains consumers and is growing in assortment, lines and references. It represents the real novelty of the market, compared to industrial brand products, with great growing rates’ outlook in the next years.

The 2020 edition of MarcabyBolognaFiere promotes an important incoming program of delegations to encourage dialogue between exhibitors and buyers from the most important foreign markets: the number of foreign delegations, that are going to visit MarcabyBolognaFiere 2020, has tripled, compared to the last year, with buyers coming from 26 countries.
